BDCOM Switch Loop Protection

BDCOM Switch Loop Protection, To protect the loop, please use the following command on the bdcom switch.

1.. Please use the following command on the up-link interface of the core switch with delivery –

Configure # loopback-detection
Change #int gigaethernet 0/8
Config_config8 # enable loopback-detection
Config_config8 # Turn off loopback-detection control
Switch _config8 # exit
Change Config # No Error-Disabled-Restore

2. Shut down vlan1 (if not vlan1 service)

Configure _config # interface vlan 1

Config _v1 # close
Configure _config # exit
Configure _config #vlanDisable-Learning1

3. Use storm control to broadcast in the port

Change #config
Configure _config # interface gigaethernet 0/1

Change _config_g0 / 1 # storm-control?

Broadcast – broadcast address storm control

Multi-cast – multicast address storm control

Unicast – Unknown-unicast address storm control

Change _config_g0 / 1 # storm-control broadcast limit?

<1-1048575> – Enter the integer portion of the storm suppression level (pps)
